Noel Cruz is an artist whose present crusade is to improve upon the affinity for celebrity dolls by repainting them. Most, or I should say many, of us have been exposed to celebrity dolls claiming to represent a famous person’s likeness only to be cruelly disappointed upon realizing that the doll looks nothing like the celebrity it claims to be a plastic miniature representation of.
So now, thanks to the incredible work of Mr. Cruz, the doll likeness of Madonna, Uma Thurman, Nicole Kidman, Cristina Aguilera and Keira Knightly among many others, will look much more realistic and true to the celebrity’s physical appearance. The dolls sell for an average of $650 a piece on eBay.
